The office market on a national level has struggled, that’s no secret. Locally, development activity has come to almost a complete standstill. Vacancy, while high, is starting to show signs of improvement. Due to a lack of completed projects, coupled with more tenants making more confident and decisive action in the market, leasing deals are back on the rise. With those dynamics at play and with interest rates stead, but poised to be lowered in the not so distant future, there are indicators of optimism in an environment of continued uncertainty for those working in office CRE.
